1. General Information

This website is operated by Troiani S.A.S., registered office at Via Zire 13, 33010 Magnano in Riviera (UD), Italy. VAT: IT01558880306. Use of this e-commerce platform implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Nature of Service

The platform is a B2B/B2C e-commerce service for the sale of equipment, rennet, starters, consumables, and other products for dairies, creameries, farms, and mountain huts. The service is available to private users and businesses located in Italy and EU countries.

3. Registration and Account

  • An account with truthful and complete information is required to make purchases.
  • The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • Business accounts must provide billing details (company name, VAT number, SDI code, PEC).
  • Troiani S.A.S. reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

4. Products and Prices

  • Products are described and illustrated in the online catalog as accurately as possible.
  • Prices are expressed in Euros (EUR) and include VAT unless otherwise indicated.
  • Troiani S.A.S. reserves the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price applied to an order is the one in effect at the time of confirmation.
  • Product availability is subject to change. In case of unavailability after ordering, the customer will be promptly informed.

5. Orders and Payments

  • An order is considered confirmed upon completion of payment through the Stripe platform.
  • Accepted payment methods include credit and debit cards (via Stripe).
  • Payment data is managed directly by Stripe Inc. and is not stored on our servers.
  • Upon order completion, the customer will receive a confirmation email with purchase details.
  • For business customers, the electronic invoice will be issued and sent through the Italian SDI system.

6. Shipping

  • Shipping is available throughout Italy.
  • Shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of the order and displayed before purchase confirmation.
  • Delivery times are estimated and may vary based on product availability and destination area.
  • The risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier.

7. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Italian Consumer Code (D.Lgs. 206/2005), private consumers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing any reason.

  • To exercise the right of withdrawal, send a communication to info@cagliotroiani.com.
  • The product must be returned intact, in its original packaging.
  • Return shipping costs are borne by the buyer.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the return, using the same payment method.
  • The right of withdrawal does not apply to customized, perishable, or hygienically sealed products that have been opened.

Note for B2B customers: the right of withdrawal under the Consumer Code does not apply to purchases made in the course of professional activity.

8. Warranty

All products are covered by the legal conformity guarantee under the Consumer Code (24 months for consumers). Defects must be reported within 2 months of discovery. For business customers, the warranties provided by the Italian Civil Code apply.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Troiani S.A.S. is not liable for service interruptions due to maintenance or force majeure.
  • Product images are illustrative and may differ slightly from the actual product.
  • Troiani S.A.S. is not liable for damages resulting from improper use of purchased products.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content (texts, images, logos, trademarks, graphics) is the property of Troiani S.A.S. or their respective owners and is protected by copyright and industrial property laws. Reproduction without written authorization is prohibited.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the Court of Udine shall have jurisdiction. For consumers, the court of the consumer's place of residence shall apply, as provided by the Consumer Code.
